Microneedling

Pore & Fine Line Reduction

Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat fine lines, wrinkles, acne or surgical scars, large pores, and uneven appearance of the skin.

Microneedling is not painful as a topical anesthetic is applied to the area to be treated beforehand. Microneedling typically has a shorter recovery time compared to the lasers or chemical peels that are also used to help resurface the skin and improve its texture.

In the platelet rich plasma microneedling facial procedure, a small amount of your blood is drawn into a specialized vial. It is then spun down in a precise manner separating the red and white blood cells from the clear plasma and platelets.

The platelet rich plasma (PRP) is then spread evenly over the skin. Microneedling is then used to push the PRP into the skin. By combining the power of microneedling with the healing dynamics of plasma and platelets, the effect on the skin is powerful anti-aging, growing new blood cells, new fat cells and new collagen (the elastic fibers that make skin tight, smooth, and youthful) cells. The skin will become tighter, pores will shrink, color will improve, fine lines and wrinkles will diminish.

Three treatments are recommended one month apart.
