OMG!!!! I can’t believe I feel terrific again! Ok folks, I’m going to be honest here. I’ve spent the last 5 years with declining energy, decreased sex drive, abdominal weight gain, decreased muscle mass and slower brain function. It happened over time and when I kept bringing it up to my Primary Care doc, he just kept saying it’s a normal part of aging and I’m in perimenopause. I asked if it will get better after menopause and he actually LAUGHED at me. That was it, I started doing my own research and wanted to find a female provider who specializes in hormones. Shannon Petteruti talked with me for over an hour at my initial appointment to really understand what was happening with me and create a plan together. Now, two years later, I still feel terrific. We don’t have to live feeling terrible, we have the opportunity to change the brain fog, energy levels, sex drive and weight gain that makes no sense! I highly recommend Shannon Petteruti and so happy I made that decision to go down this path with her.

I can't say enough positive things about Shannon Petteruti! I knew something was off with me, it wasn't anything that happened overnight, but when I looked back it was several years in the making. That 2 pounds I gained over the last 7 years, the amount of times I had sex with my husband (normally twice a week to just twice a month), the lack of motivation for workouts or anything active in general. I just felt ok. Since it happened over time, I guess I got used to it. It is how we age right! Well not me. I was 52 and felt like 100. After research I came across Shannon Petteruti (someone actually referred her to me on the same day as I googled her, small world) and the minute I had my encounter with her I knew this was going to be a great working relationship. She has an empathetic listening ability to topics often hard to bring up. But with her I felt like I could tell her anything. Not only has she changed my health, but also my work, relationships and how I feel about life.

Before working with Shannon, I was at the end of my rope. I had been struggling with my weight for several years and I was beyond frustrated. My clothes didn’t fit and I hated shopping because it felt that nothing looked good and I was always uncomfortable. When I first learned about Shannon, I was a bit hesitant. I’d already tried so many diet and exercise plans over the years that I would sustain for a week or two and made me feel miserable. But something about Shannon’s approach felt different to me, so I decided to take the step. And am I glad I did! I lost 30 pounds in 4 months. But the best part for me is I gained muscle and lost fat! For the first time in 8 years, I am confident and feel terrific. I’m happier and have more energy than I’ve ever had before. This truly is a lifestyle change and I have learned what I need for it to be sustainable (she always says it has to be realistic to be sustainable and it is so true!) Shannon has been an invaluable asset!
