Many people embrace exercise with religious fervor. If they get enough steps in each day, or lift enough weight and train hard, it will be the antidote to the aging process. We have watches to remind us to get up and walk around during the day, track our steps and remind us to hit the gym but will this really stop the clock on aging?

In this episode we will present evidence supporting the ideal amount of exercise in order to preserve youth and extend life. We will also discuss how to manage exercise that could tip into the toxic range, and we refute the commonly embraced belief that exercise is a path toward weight reduction.
